The incident occurred in the 4th over when Yuzvendra Chahal was brought on by the RCB skipper Shane Watson to put pressure on Dhawan and Henriques after the dismissal of David Warner. Henriques punched the ball off the back foot towards deep long off and ran the first one hard in the hopes of getting a double. After some confusion, Dhawan decided to send Henriques back but the Australian was halfway down the track.
The second error came from Sreenath Aravind who threw the ball to the striker's end when the other side would have been the better option. However, even when Kedar Jadhav collected the ball, he would have seen Henriques turn around to save his wicket. It was all upto Jadhav to get it right, but the 32-year-old panicked as he threw the ball well clear of the stumps and Henriques was able to make his way back just in time.
Sunrisers eventually finished the innings with a score of 207/4 thanks to fifties from Henriques and Yuvraj Singh.
