In the true Virendra Sehwag way, the former Indian batsman has called Sachin Tendulkar a lion and Virat Kohli a fox when asked to compare the two players. Sehwag also praised the abilities of fellow Delhi-born youngster Rishabh Pant, calling the uncapped player's batting style "unbelievable".

Virendra Sehwag, who was known for his explosive batting abilities during his heyday, has now gained a cult following thanks to his exploits with the microphone and quick wit on Twitter. So one would have to be naive to draw him into the Tendulkar-Kohli debate and expect a straight answer.

In an interview , Sehwag refused to be drawn into comparison debate between Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli based on cricketing talent, but he did compare the style of play in a hilarious way.

"When you entered the ground with Tendulkar, you felt like you were going into the jungle with a lion, so no one dared to come close to you. With Kohli it is like going with a fox, who is cunning enough to know how to move across the terrain of a cricketing field," Sehwag said.

Due to his commentating duties, Sehwag watches a lot of cricket and singled out Virat Kohli and Aussie David Warner as the batsmen he most enjoys watching. The 38-year-old also reserved special praise for teenager Rishabh Pant naming him as his favorite uncapped player.

"There are only two batsmen who I would want to watch - one is David Warner and the other is Virat Kohli," Sehwag said.

"For an uncapped player, I would have to say Rishabh Pant. The way he bats, he is unbelievable. He has scored the fasted Ranji Trophy hundred and then he scored the 300 in less than 300 balls. He is a very talented young player."

The former Indian opener is still the only Indian batsman to score two triple-centuries but was always considered as a better limited-overs player. However, he said that his favorite innings was not the 309 against Pakistan in the Multan Test but his very first hundred against South Africa.

"My favorite innings is my first Test hundred against South Africa because people saw me as a player who was born to only play ODI matches. So it was a challenge for me to play in a Test match and to perform. That's why the first Test innings is my favorite inning," Sehwag explained.
