Terming Virat Kohli as an unbelievable player, Tom Curran joked that if he takes Kohli's wicket in the future, hopefully, he would not have done it on a no-ball. He also voiced his excitement about England being drawn in the same group as India, South Africa and Afghanistan for the T20 World Cup.

England’s fast-bowling allrounder Tom Curran has stated that he would like to get the wicket of Indian skipper Virat Kohli whenever the two teams meet in future. He also quipped that hopefully, he would not get the scalp off a no-ball. Curran walked onto the infamous list of the bowlers who missed picking their maiden Test-wicket because of a no-ball.

"Hopefully not with a no-ball! We'll see. He's an unbelievable player," he was quoted as saying by PTI.

Curran was speaking to the media after the International Cricket Council announced the fixtures for the 2020 edition of the ICC Cricket World Cup to be held in Australia. India and England have been are embedded in the same group along with Afghanistan, South Africa and other two yet to be finalized teams.

"All the games are so exciting, the crowd will be phenomenal and to be a part of it will be amazing. Playing T20s in Australia is unbelievable. We saw the excitement during the 50-over World Cup (in 2015) created here," Curran said.

The T20 World Cup will be played from October 18 to November 15 next year and India will face England at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on November 1. The event will not be played alongside the Women’s event as was the case earlier and will be held as a standalone event.

"Australia has some of the most unbelievable stadiums in the world. To experience it properly in the Big Bash season has been amazing for me," he added.
