Priyam Garg to captain India U-19 side in England

The Indian U-19 team will depart for England over the course of the next month or so as they gear up for a tricky tri-series against the home team and neighbours Bangladesh. The 50-over tournament is scheduled to start on July 21 will see the India Colts team play on the big stage since their last outing at the Asia Cup last year.

The Selection committee has elected Uttar Pradesh cricketer Priyam Garg as captain of the U-19 side that will depart for England. The committee has put together an 18-member team for the event which also includes Mumbai Indians' young pacer - Rasik Salam. Yashasvi Jaiswal, who excelled with the bat in the Asia Cup campaign last year, also finds himself in the squad while Prabsimran Singh, the KXIP wicket-keeper batsman who led India during their victorious outing, has not been selected for the tri-series.
