While many have been of the opinion that the best aide to skipper Virat Kohli has been his mentor MS Dhoni, in reality, the biggest strength Kohli would be needing to win titles in the future is Jasprit Bumrah. The 25-year-old has exhibited an understanding of the game and nerves of steel, which is way beyond his nascent age and is one of India’s national treasure.

Making his ODI debut in 2016, Bumrah has bagged an incredible 85 wickets in 49 matches. In Tests too, where he was introduced by the Indian management against too many reservations about his age and inexperience, Bumrah has taken 49 wickets in 10 matches.
