Bangladesh cricket team have begun their training sessions for next month's tour to India after the Bangladesh Cricket Board were successful in ending their strike. A lot of the player's demands were fulfilled by the board that included a 50 per cent pay increase for domestic players.

Bangladesh team's players ended their strike on Wednesday as BCB ensured 50 percent pay rise for first-class players, extention on national pay contracts and a share in the board's revenue. The team has begun its training for the upcoming tour to India which begins with the T20I series on November 3rd.

Test team and T20 captain Shakib Al Hasan had announced this strike which had cast many doubts on Bangladesh's tour to India. But now the strike has been called off and except Shakib, all the others have attended the opening training session. Shakib skipped the session due to illness. The proceedings of the training session were monitored by head coach Russell Domingo.

Veteran New Zealand left-arm spinner Daniel Vettori has joined as Bangladesh's spinning coach having replaced India's Sunil Joshi. The veteran will bring a lot of experience to the Bangladesh team's spinners which will come in handy on India's spin-friendly pitches. He will work in the build-up to next year's T20 World Cup in Australia.

Arafat Sunny makes a comeback to Bangladesh's T20 side for the India tour after three long years. he is very eager to learn from the great New Zealander as he was his role model.

"As a left-arm spinner, I always followed his bowling. He is a great left-arm spinner. He is my coach now. Today is his first day, so let's see, we have more practice sessions coming,” Sunny told Sportstar.

Sunny last played for Bangladesh in the 2016 World T20 where he was suspended for his bowling action. he has worked hard on his action and is looking forward to the challenge. He believes he could learn a lot from Vettori owing to his coaching experience.

“He was an international player and also did coaching in IPL. So maybe if I talk with him and get some advice on how I can improve, it will be better for me,” he concluded.

Bangladesh will leave for the Indian shores on October 30th and will play their first T20 on November 3rd in Delhi.
