Rishabh Pant has said that he is ‘very satisfied’ after getting out of bio-bubble for the upcoming five-match T20I series between India and South Africa, starting from June 9 in Delhi. Pant has also added that he is hopeful about no bio-bubble restrictions in cricket in the coming days.

The five-match T20I series between India and South Africa will get underway in Delhi on June 9. Almost every Indian star players participated in the recently-concluded IPL 2022, where they had to play in bio-bubble due to Covid-19 concerns.

India’s vice-captain Rishabh Pant, after getting out of the bubble, said that he feels relaxed to be out finally. Notably, cricket has been playing under bio-bubble restrictions for over two years, and things are finally getting back to normal. Pant further claimed that there might not be any more ‘bio-bubble things’ in future.

"Getting out of the bio-bubble is really very satisfying. And hopefully, there are no more bio-bubble things, so I'm enjoying the time out now we have gone through so much," Pant told SG Cricket Podcast.

"When you keep on playing throughout the year, especially with the kind of pressure it is important to relax your mind. If you can't refresh your mind, you won't be giving your hundred percent. We need to keep working on our mind and keep refreshing.”

Five T20Is will be played across five different cities with the highest capacity crowd in the venues. Since the pandemic in 2020, this has never happened in international cricket.
