The India Women team will be going into the third T20I with a 2-0 lead and will be hoping to seal the series at Kennington Oval in London. Do-or-die moment for England to save the series at home and keep their chances alive in the five-match T20I series.

‌The third T20I is set to take place at The Oval in London with India Women in the drivers seat leading the series 2-0. While it was vice captain Smriti Mandhana who ensured the win in the first game, it was Amanjot Kaur who delivered an incredible all round performance in the second T20I. The Harmanpreet Kaur-led side have a chance to seal the series in the upcoming venture.
On the other hand the England side have not had a great start in the series and this will be a do-or-die fixture for them to stay alive in the game. The two games ended in disappointing fashion for the Three Lionesses where they lost by big margins. The defeat in the first T20I was also their biggest defeat in T20Is losing by a huge margin of 97 runs.

 ENG-W vs IND-W Head-to-Head in T20Is

While India are in a great position in the ongoing series, they have struggled on most occasions against the English side on most occasions. The two teams have featured in 32 T20Is starting from 2006 in which the Poms have come out on top in 22 games and the Indian team have only been victorious on ten occasions.

Pitch and Weather

The surface at the Oval has been a high-scoring venue for the majority of the games. Though there is a bit of swing and extra bounce for the seamers with the new ball for the pacers, as the game progresses the batters are able to freely score runs on the pitch, which could make this another potential high scoring game.
The weather conditions on their hand tell a different story since the reports suggest that it is going to be a cloudy affair throughout the day. The maximum temperature will be 27 degrees celsius. While the chances of rain are marginal the overcast conditions can also affect the conditions for the players, who will feature in the match.

Team News

The English side might not make a lot of changes in their playing XI, but they probably would make some changes within the bowling department looking at how they have performed in the last two games. The one change could make is to replace Lauren Filer with another young and explosive player in Issy Wong. Filer has failed to make breakthroughs in the first two games. The overcast conditions will also suit a bowler like Wong who is known to generate a lot of pace and bounce.
The Indian team on the other hand are high on confidence and will most likely go unchanged into the game. They have been dominant in all the departments of the game and there does not seem to be a reason to make any unnecessary changes going into the game where most of their key players seem to be in great form.
England Women Probable XI: Sophia Dunkley, Danielle Wyatt-Hodge, Nat Sciver-Brunt (c), Tammy Beaumont, Amy Jones (wk), Alice Capsey, Em Arlott, Sophie Ecclestone, Issy Wong, Linsey Smith, Lauren Bell.
India Women Probable XI: Shafali Verma, Smriti Mandhana, Harmanpreet Kaur (c), Jemimah Rodrigues, Amanjot Kaur, Richa Ghosh (wk), Deepti Sharma, Radha Yadav, Arundhati Reddy, Sneh Rana, Shree Charani.
