The ICC has announced that Bengaluru, Guwahati, Visakhapatnam and Indore will conduct the matches for the Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 to be held in India from September 30. Colombo will be the neutral venue with Pakistan playing all their matches there as part of the hybrid model.

‌The International Cricket Council has announced that Bengaluru, Guwahati, Visakhapatnam and Indore will be the venues for the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup set to start in India from September 30. India will kickstart the marquee tournament with a match at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru with the ICC yet to announce the detailed schedule.

Along with the four Indian venues, Colombo will be the neutral venue with Pakistan playing all their matches there as part of the hybrid model. The hybrid model came into existence after the Indian men’s team refused to travel to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy earlier this year, the PCB had announced that it would also not travel to India for major tournaments hosted here.

The first semifinal will be held at Colombo if Pakistan qualify for the last four and the final will also be held there if they progress to the summit clash. If they are not progressing from the group stage, then the last four contests will be held at the Assam Cricket Association Stadium in Guwahati and Bangalore with the latter hosting the final as well.

Defending champions Australia, England, South Africa, New Zealand, Sri Lanka and host India have automatically qualified for the competition with Pakistan and Bangladesh joining them after playing the qualifiers in Lahore earlier this year with Bangladesh pipping West Indies on Net Run Rate. Each team will play the other sides once in a round-robin format with the top four sides after the group stage making it to the last four. A total of 31 matches will be played in the tournament with the final slated to happen on November 2.
