With the summer transfer window approaching, Manchester United have reportedly finalized a deal to sign Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen from Napoli for €60 million, as per Turkish journalist Aygun Ozipek. Osimhen, who has been on loan at Galatasaray this season, impressed by netting 29 goals in 34 matches across all competitions.

His current Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) stands at €69 million, with a range between €62.1M and €75.9M. Despite previous interest from Chelsea and other European giants like Arsenal, PSG, Juventus, and Barcelona, it appears United have taken the lead in the race. The 26-year-old forward is said to have agreed personal terms with the Red Devils, securing a contract worth €15 million annually. Osimhen’s loan at Galatasaray was a dry deal, with the Turkish club covering his €10 million salary for the season, but no purchase option included.

He will return to Napoli at the end of the campaign before making a permanent move due to a €75 million release clause exclusive to foreign clubs. His fallout with Napoli last year has made his departure inevitable, marking United's early push to address their primary transfer target ahead of the window's official opening.
