The 40-year-old Al Nassr star now has 93 goals and 19 assists in 105 games for the club. Despite his brilliance, Al Nassr finished third and missed AFC Champions League Elite qualification.

After the conclusion of the 2024-25 Saudi Pro League season, Cristiano Ronaldo added another accolade to his storied career by winning the Fans’ Player of the Season award. The 40-year-old Portuguese legend, captain of Al Nassr, earned the honour after a stellar campaign where he was named Man of the Match 15 times across 34 league appearances. Despite Al Nassr finishing third in the standings and missing out on a spot in the elite AFC Champions League, Ronaldo’s individual brilliance stood out.

The team will now compete in the AFC Champions League 2 next season. Ronaldo has now tallied 93 goals and 19 assists in 105 matches across all competitions for the Saudi club, though a league title still eludes him. Ronaldo recently signed a two-year contract extension with Al Nassr, signaling his continued commitment to the Saudi project.
