Aakash Chopra and Sreesanth in Twitter battle

Aakash Chopra and S Sreesanth were involved in an exchange of words on Twitter after the former India opener said Sreesanth should not be a part of the game again because of his involvement in spot-fixing, while the pacer said he has served his punishment and is now ready to make a comeback.

It all started when a fan asked cricketer-turned-commentator Chopra whether he believes that Sreesanth could make a comeback to cricket. Chopra responded with an assertive NO.

Sreesanth was taken aback by this and responded by saying that he is confident of playing cricket for India again.

But he wasn't done. Sreesanth found Chopra telling another fan on Facebook that although he might be fully fit, Sreesanth doesn't deserve to play the game as he disgraced the game by participating in spot-fixing.

Aakash wasted no time in making his thoughts clear.

The exchange went on.

At the end of it, Sreesanth said he believes this has shown him that people want him back.
