India Women will meet England Women in the fourth T20I at Old Trafford in Manchester on Wednesday. The visitors, who lead the five-match duel 2-1, will look to bounce back from their narrow loss at The Oval last week and seal the series ahead of the fifth and final tie in Birmingham on July 12.

‌India Women would aim to replicate their clinical showings in the first two T20Is when they meet England Women in the fourth match at Old Trafford in Manchester on Wednesday. After their narrow six-run loss at The Oval last week, the visitors still lead 2-1 and will look to seal the five-match series with a game to spare.

Meanwhile, England were dealt a body blow with regular skipper and star all-rounder Nat Sciver-Brunt, who suffered a groin injury in the second game, being ruled out of the last two games. However, the hosts registered their first win of the series in London on Friday despite missing the services of Sciver-Brunt.

The Indian batting has been impressive this series, with the women scoring more than 160 runs in all the matches, including a 200-plus total in the first game. Opener Smriti Mandhana is on top of the overall run-scoring charts with a tally of 181 runs, including a hundred and a fifty, from three innings at an impressive average of 60.33 and a strike rate of 145.96. For England, Sophia Dunkley, who starred in the hosts’ win in London with a 53-ball 75, has accumulated 83 runs in the series at a strike rate of 133.87.

On the bowling front, the rookie left-arm spinner Shree Charani, who made her debut in the shortest format in the first T20I at Nottingham, is on top of the bowling charts with eight wickets from three matches with an economy of 7.01 and an astonishing strike rate of 8.87. Pacer Lauren Bell is second on the list with six scalps at an economy of 6.75 and averaging a wicket every two overs.
