Pratika Rawal

International career

Pratika Rawal was born on 1 September 2000 and is an Indian cricketer who has quickly gained recognition in the national team. She grew up in Prem Nagar, Haryana, and performed well in her studies, scoring 92.5% in her CASE 12th board exams. Pratika completed her graduation in psychology from Jesus & Mary College in New Delhi. Alongside academics, she also excelled in basketball, playing for Bal Bharati School in Rajender Nagar and winning a gold medal at the 64th School National Games in Delhi in January 2019.

Domestic career

Pratika Rawal started her cricket career at the age of 10 while in fourth grade. She first trained with coach Sharvan Kumar at the Rohtak Road Gymkhana Cricket Academy. Later, she trained under Dipti Dhyani, a former cricketer, and Dishant Yagnik, the coach of the Delhi women’s team.

She played for Delhi from 2021 until early 2024. In 2024, she joined Railways for the Senior Women's One Day Trophy and Senior Women's T20 Trophy. Pratika made her List A debut for Delhi on 31 October 2021 against Jharkhand in the Senior Women's One Day Trophy. She scored an unbeaten 161 off 155 balls against Assam. In total, she scored 247 runs from seven matches that season, with an average of 49.40 and a strike rate of 78.41.

She played her first T20 for Delhi on 21 April 2022 against Railways in the Senior Women's T20 Trophy. In the 2023–24 Senior Women's One Day Trophy, Pratika scored 411 runs in eight matches, with an average of 68.50 and a strike rate of 91.94. She also scored two centuries, with a top score of 141.

Pratika played for East Delhi Riders in the 2024 Women's Delhi Premier League. In the Under-23 T20 Trophy in 2024, she captained the Delhi team to the final. She finished second in points scored, with 182 points from nine matches, an average of 26, and a coefficient of 85.94.
