Star middle-order batter Dean Foxcroft scored 47 runs off 33 balls, with five fours and two sixes, following Will Young’s 35 runs off 26 balls and Dane Cleaver’s 28 runs off just 19 balls. Dominic Drakes and Kaleem Sana scalped two wickets each for Dubai Capitals in the first innings, alongside a wicket picked by Kadeem Alleyne.

While chasing the target, the Capitals fell six runs short of the target, getting restricted to the score of 166/9 in the entire 20 overs.
