Form is temporary but class is permanent, and AB de Villiers showed that yet again during the World Championship League 2025 in Leicester. The former South Africa player recreated an iconic shot of his from IPL 2019 during his unbeaten century against England Champions in their 10-wicket win.

‌South Africa Champions continued their unbeaten run in the World Championship of Legends 2025 season with a 10-wicket hammering of hosts England Champions in Leicester on Thursday. Skipper AB de Villiers remained unbeaten on 116 off just 51 balls, smashing 15 fours and seven sixes, to power his side to the target of 153 in only 12.2 overs. Earlier, leg-spinner Imran Tahir registered impressive figures of 2/17 while Wayne Parnell also picked up two wickets as the Proteas restricted England to 152/6 in 20 overs.

AB looked to be in supreme touch as he took the field with Hashim Amla for the chase. He rolled back the years, much to the delight of the fans all over the world, scoring a 41-ball 100 to help the Proteas continue their reign at the top of the table.

Just after reaching his century, the wicketkeeper-batter brought back memories from the past as he sent a full toss no-ball from Stuart Meaker to the fine leg fence. The batter moved his head out of the way and brought his bat down in time to fend off the delivery, which was directed towards his chest.

He recreated one of his audacious shots from the past when he sent a similar delivery from Mohammed Shami over the square leg fence during the Indian Premier League 2019 season. Twitteratti was in awe as de Villiers showed he is still the Mr.360 with that no-look shot.

What a shot!
