Roma and Juventus drew 1-1 in Rome, with Manuel Locatelli scoring for Juve in the 40th minute and Eldor Shomurodov equalising in the 49th. Juventus remains fifth with 56 points, while Roma sits seventh with 53. The result ended Igor Tudor's winning start as Juve manager and extended Roma unbeaten league run.

After being the dominant side early on, Juventus was forced to settle for a 1-1 draw against AS Roma in their Serie A clash in Rome on Sunday. Manuel Locatelli gave Juventus the lead in the 40th minute with a powerful low strike from outside the box, capitalising on a poor clearance. Roma, who failed to register a shot on target in the first half, bounced back four minutes into the second half.

Substitute Eldor Shomurodov reacted quickest to a rebound from Evan Ndicka’s header, smashing the ball in off the crossbar to level the score. It was Igor Tudor’s second match as Juventus manager, following a 1-0 win over Genoa last weekend. Juventus now sits fifth with 56 points from 31 games, level with fourth-placed Bologna. Roma, unbeaten in Serie A since December, is seventh with 53 points and remains in the Champions League hunt.

The match was hard-fought, with chances at both ends as Stephan El Shaarawy struck the post for Roma, while Timothy Weah and Dusan Vlahovic tested Roma’s defence early on. With tough fixtures ahead, including Inter, Atalanta, and AC Milan, Claudio Ranieri’s Roma faces a challenging path in the race for European football.
