Juventus are aiming to strengthen their wing-back options for Igor Tudor’s 3-4-2-1 setup. They are targeting Lazio’s Nuno Tavares, valued at €30–40M, and Fiorentina’s Dodo, amid stalled renewal talks. Girona’s Miguel Gutierrez, with a €35M clause, is also on the shortlist, while Cambiaso has dismissed transfer rumours.
When the new season preparations began, Juventus manager Igor Tudor requested reinforcements in the wing-back department to better suit his 3-4-2-1 formation. With Andrea Cambiaso confirming his commitment to the club despite links to Milan, the Bianconeri are eyeing just one high-quality addition on the flanks. Juventus are targeting Lazio’s Nuno Tavares, who had a strong season under Tudor at Marseille.
Lazio bought him from Arsenal for €5 million but reportedly want €30–40 million now, with a significant share of that going back to the Gunners due to a sell-on clause. Negotiating with Claudio Lotito will be a challenge for Juventus. Other names on their radar include Fiorentina’s Dodo, whose contract renewal is stalling, and Girona’s Miguel Gutierrez, who has a €35 million release clause.
However, these targets are being pursued by other top clubs like Barcelona, Milan, and Napoli as well. With Cambiaso’s versatility and Timothy Weah’s potential, adding one elite wing-back may be enough if Nicolò Savona develops as expected. Weston McKennie remains a reliable utility option, but a natural, dynamic wide player could elevate Juventus tactically. Despite the financial and competitive hurdles, signing Tavares or Dodo could be a major boost.
