Arsenal are closely monitoring Rodrygo’s situation at Real Madrid, with the Brazilian facing uncertainty due to competition from Vinicius Jr. and Mbappe. Madrid are in advanced talks with Brahim Diaz for a new deal, further clouding Rodrygo’s future. Saudi clubs have reportedly offered €130m (£110m), while his contract runs until June 2028.

In the latest development around Arsenal’s transfer ambitions, Real Madrid winger Rodrygo's future has taken center stage. With Arsenal aiming to bolster their attack ahead of the 2025/26 season, the 23-year-old Brazilian has emerged as a potential target. Rodrygo, who has a contract with Real Madrid until June 2028, scored six goals and provided six assists last season. However, with Vinicius Jr. and new signing Kylian Mbappe ahead of him in the pecking order, his long-term role under incoming manager Xabi Alonso remains uncertain.

Real Madrid are currently in advanced talks to extend Brahim Diaz's contract by five years, a move that could further limit Rodrygo’s opportunities and suggest Madrid’s willingness to cash in. Spanish outlet Fichajes reports that Saudi clubs Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal have submitted bids close to €130 million (£110 million), though previous valuations suggested £67.5 million could be enough to sign him.

While Arsenal’s primary focus remains signing a centre-forward—targets include Benjamin Sesko and Viktor Gyokeres—there is room for another wide attacker to compete with Gabriel Martinelli. With Arteta closely monitoring Rodrygo's situation, and Brahim’s extension possibly pushing Rodrygo toward the exit door, Arsenal could make a serious move if Madrid open negotiations.
