Manchester United will unveil a dramatic new tifo banner at Old Trafford ahead of Thursday’s Europa League semi-final second leg against Athletic Club. Leading 3-0 from the first leg in Bilbao, the club aims to energize fans with a vibrant display, approved by captain Bruno Fernandes, as they push for a place in the final.

For the game against Athletic Club on Thursday, Manchester United are preparing an electrifying Old Trafford atmosphere, aiming to book a spot in the Europa League final. After a commanding 3-0 win in the first leg in Bilbao, the Reds are in a strong position, but manager Ruben Amorim insists on maintaining high performance to see off Ernesto Valverde’s determined side.

To amplify home support, a brand-new tifo banner will be unveiled in front of the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand, featuring pyrotechnics and a dramatic reveal. This marks only the second tifo in Old Trafford’s history, the first appearing before the quarter-final clash with Lyon.

The initiative was approved by captain Bruno Fernandes and created in collaboration with fan groups. The banner's design remains a secret until matchday to preserve its emotional impact.

Midfield maestro Casemiro, who scored the opener in Bilbao and was instrumental in the comeback against Lyon, is featured in the United Review. He praised the unwavering support of United fans, especially during a challenging league season. Casemiro highlighted the fans’ loyalty even when performances dip, expressing heartfelt gratitude: “All I can say is thank you, thank you very much.”

With this unity between players and fans, United hope to finish the job and advance to a final showdown against either Bodo/Glimt or Tottenham.
