Tottenham Agree a £55m Deal for Mohammed Kudus

When the summer transfer window heated up, Tottenham Hotspur struck a major deal by agreeing to sign Mohammed Kudus from West Ham United for a reported £55 million. After an initial £50 million bid was turned down, Spurs reached an agreement and the Ghanaian forward is set to undergo his medical and sign a six-year contract. Kudus, who had also attracted interest from Chelsea and Newcastle, made it clear he only wanted a move to Tottenham.

The 24-year-old joined West Ham from Ajax in 2023 for £38 million and had a strong debut season, scoring 14 goals and assisting nine times across competitions. However, his second campaign saw a dip in form, netting just five goals, though he still created chances while being deployed in various roles due to team injuries. Despite the fluctuation, Tottenham see Kudus as a versatile attacker capable of playing across the front line.
