After the much-anticipated wait, Juventus kicked off their FIFA Club World Cup 2025 campaign with an emphatic 5-0 win over Al Ain in Washington DC. The Bianconeri, making their debut in Group G, dominated from the start after surviving an early scare in the 9th minute when Michele Di Gregorio denied Facundo Zabala. Just moments later, Alberto Costa’s pinpoint cross set up Randal Kolo Muani, who headed home the opener.

Francisco Conceicao added a classy second, followed by a stunning strike from Kenan Yildiz, assisted by Khephren Thuram. Kolo Muani netted again just before halftime to complete a powerful first half. Although Al Ain responded briefly in the second half with a disallowed goal and a close-range chance from Kodjo Fo-Doh Laba, Juventus regained full control. Conceicao scored his second, pushing the tally to 5.

Kolo Muani narrowly missed a hat trick, and Douglas Luiz struck the post late on. Coach Igor Tudor, who recently extended his contract, praised the team's attacking intent and composure but stressed the need to tighten their defensive organization. Juventus now turns their attention to their next fixture against Morocco’s Wydad AC, aiming to continue their strong run in the expanded Club World Cup tournament.
