Victor Osimhen has reportedly rejected transfer interest from Manchester United and Arsenal despite scoring 37 goals in 41 games for Galatasaray. Napoli’s £65m release clause now makes him affordable for Chelsea, his only Premier League option. Galatasaray offered him £12.8m annually, while Al-Hilal proposed a staggering £42.6m salary to lure him to Saudi Arabia.
As the summer transfer window heats up, Victor Osimhen’s next destination remains a major talking point across Europe. After a prolific loan spell at Galatasaray—where he scored an astonishing 37 goals in 41 appearances and helped the club retain the Super Lig title—the Nigerian striker has reportedly made a key decision. According to reports, Osimhen has rejected transfer approaches from both Manchester United and Arsenal, narrowing his Premier League options to Chelsea.
Financial incentives appear to be a major factor in his decision-making. Turkish media outlet Sabah claims Galatasaray have offered him £12.8 million per year in wages along with £8.5 million in sponsorship deals, while Saudi club Al-Hilal are said to have tabled a staggering £42.6 million annual offer. Osimhen is still contracted to Napoli, but a return seems unlikely due to his fallout with manager Antonio Conte.
His release clause, once set at £100 million, has reportedly dropped to £65 million for clubs outside Italy—an amount Chelsea could afford after securing Champions League qualification and featuring in the FIFA Club World Cup. While Manchester United scramble to find firepower—especially after being rejected by Viktor Gyokeres—Arsenal might now intensify their pursuit of other targets like Benjamin Sesko or Ollie Watkins.
