For the 2025 summer transfer window, Arsenal are actively strengthening their squad, with talks underway to sign 20-year-old Valencia defender Cristhian Mosquera. A versatile player who can feature both at centre-back and right-back, Mosquera played 90 minutes in 37 of Valencia’s 38 La Liga games last season and has made 90 senior appearances since 2021. He has emerged as Arsenal’s primary defensive target over Crystal Palace’s Marc Guehi.

In midfield, the Gunners are close to finalising a £15 million deal for Brentford’s Danish international Christian Norgaard, who is expected to undergo a medical soon. Additionally, Arsenal are on the verge of securing goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga from Chelsea, further strengthening their squad depth.

On the contract front, 18-year-old full-back Myles Lewis-Skelly has signed a five-year extension following a breakout season in which he made 39 appearances. Fellow defender Gabriel also signed a new long-term deal earlier this month, highlighting the club’s intent to maintain continuity in key areas. With multiple moves already in motion, Arsenal look determined to bolster their squad ahead of the 2025–26 campaign, addressing both immediate and long-term goals under manager Mikel Arteta.
