The Spanish giants have officially sent a contract proposal to 20-year-old Huijsen, who currently plays for Bournemouth and is seen as a top defensive priority. Despite strong interest from Chelsea, Arsenal, and Liverpool, Huijsen prefers a move to the Santiago Bernabeu.
His release clause stands at £50 million (€58 million), and Bournemouth insist on the full fee, though they are open to a three-installment payment plan. Real Madrid, initially hesitant, have now agreed to proceed with the full amount, hoping to finalize the deal in time for next month’s FIFA Club World Cup.
