West Ham are targeting Liverpool's Harvey Elliott, who is valued at £40 million with a buy-back clause. The 22-year-old impressed at the U21 European Championship with five goals in six matches. Although he made only two Premier League starts last season, Elliott is on West Ham’s radar along with teammate Tyler Morton as part of their summer plans.

After offloading Mohammed Kudus to Tottenham for £54.5 million, West Ham United have turned their attention to Liverpool’s versatile midfielder Harvey Elliott. The 22-year-old, who impressed during England’s victorious U21 European Championship campaign by scoring five goals in six matches, has been valued at £40 million by Liverpool, with a buy-back clause included in any potential deal.

Despite his potential, Elliott struggled for consistent game time last season, starting just 2 out of his 18 Premier League appearances. Capable of playing both out wide and centrally, his limited minutes have made him a realistic transfer target, especially as West Ham seek to reinforce under new manager Graham Potter, who is undergoing his first full transfer window in charge. West Ham have not submitted an official bid yet, but are optimistic about negotiating terms.

They are also monitoring Tyler Morton, another Liverpool academy graduate who spent last season on loan at Hull City. Morton, like Elliott, is part of England’s U21 setup and has attracted interest from Ajax as well. The Hammers’ strategy to invest in young English talent could signal a new phase under Potter’s leadership, aiming to build a dynamic squad around promising prospects like Elliott and Morton.
