ENG vs IND | Twitter on the edge as Siraj bursts out at Root after batter pulls out in last minute

Fast Bowling is the most thankless job in cricket, and bowling in Test matches is all the more difficult. Mohammed Siraj lost his cool, bursting out at Joe Root as the batter backed off at the last moment due to issues with the spider cam during the third Test between India and England at Lord’s.
The pair ensured that the hosts did not lose another wicket as they avoided any risks to add just 70 runs in the next 24 overs, with Root completing a patient half-century. But Pope, against the run of play, was dismissed by left-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja with the first ball after tea. And soon, England lost another in the form of Harry Brook as Bumrah castled him with a beauty.
However, England captain Ben Stokes and Root steadied things again when the latter irked Mohammed Siraj in the 66th over. Just as Siraj was about to deliver the third ball of that over, the veteran batter pulled out at the last minute, pointing towards the spider cam.
The pacer, who wears his heart on his sleeve, was unimpressed, bursting out with Root’s action and stopping just short of throwing the red cherry towards the stumps. The horrified Root tried to pacify the quick, mentioning that the camera had come into his eyeline. But the flared up Siraj walked back to his run-up, nodding his head and making his displeasure clear to the camera operators too.
Twitter sat on the edge as they watched the proceedings unfold with bated breath.
Fear of DSP Siraj

Really
Really like Siraj’s aggression, he wears his heart on his sleeve, but it really got me thinking - how would he have liked if the English batters had a similar reaction to his false starts at Edgbaston!?

3rd Time
This is 3rd time Root has pulled away from playing a ball to a fast bowler. Twice against Akash Deep and once against Siraj.

I can get the frustration of bowlers when this happens. You run in, in this blazing heat and the batsman moves away. Bowler’s anger justified.
Got angry
Mohammad Siraj got angry at Joe Root.

Joe Root trys to convince 👇😲
Right
Mohammed Siraj is a right knob

Root Stopped him
Root has stopped pacers from bowling at the last minute by pulling out. Lords has worst crowd discipline around sight screen or Root playing up? Stokes literally did a high-five-punch with Root on making Siraj vocal.

Switched off
The moment Bumrah is in the XI, Siraj and Akashdeep just switch off like, “Bhai, Bumrah sambhal lega”... they bowl like they’re doing a formality, rfully relying on him to do all the damage.

Nobhead?
Siraj is nobhead man
— AT (@shizmaite)
Yup
Siraj should’ve bowled and appealed fds
