SL vs BAN | Twitter feels for Nahid Rana as bowler frustrated after half-hearted attempt from Ebadot Hossain

Fast bowling, especially in Test cricket, is never easy with bowlers sending down long and tiring spells often without rewards. Nahid Rana could not hide his frustration during the third day of the second Test against Sri Lanka as Ebadot Hossain stopped halfway in his attempt to take a catch.
Bangladesh skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto tried to press home the advantage as he started with Nahid straightaway with the pacer depending on his short ball ploy to add to his wicket tally. With Nayeem also striking with his first over post-lunch, Bangladesh were looking to bat again after quickly wiping off the tail.
On the third ball of the 106th over, Nahid bowled a quick bouncer that caught the well-set Kusal Mendis off-guard. The wicketkeeper-batter was rushed as he ended up miscuing a hook shot with the ball going towards Ebadot Hossain stationed at fine leg.
The fellow pacer looked confident as he started in his attempt to go for the catch but soon gave up thinking he may not reach it. As a result, he caught the ball on the bounce stopping it from going past the rope.
But Nahid, who was giving his all on a hot and humid day, was not impressed with Ebadot’s effort as he gave an angry shout in frustration while skipper Shanto gave him a cold stare. The Twitteratti felt for Nahid who was not merited for his well-planned move but Ebadot was not to be blamed.

He consistently performs on spin friendly tracks, whether at home or away. Today, he claimed his 17th Test fifer as Sri Lanka were bowled out for 458.
Good one
A good ton by Nissanka and I think Sri Lanka will win this test match.
